Dr. Yvonne Commodore-Mensah is a renowned cardiovascular nurse epidemiologist with national and international recognition and over 16 years of nursing experience, including more than a decade in cardiovascular disease epidemiology, clinical trials, and research. She earned her nursing degree (Honors) from Fairleigh Dickinson University, a Master of Health Science in Cardiovascular and Clinical Epidemiology from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, and a PhD in Nursing from the Johns Hopkins School of Nursing.

Her research focuses on reducing cardiovascular disease risk among African populations in the United States and across Africa through community-engaged research and implementation science. She serves as principal investigator on several major projects, including the ADHINCRA Program, a randomized controlled trial addressing hypertension control in Africa, and the LINKED-BP and LINKED-HEARTS Programs, cluster-randomized controlled trials strengthening hypertension control and chronic condition management in U.S. primary care settings.

Her contributions have earned her fellowships and awards from the American Academy of Nursing, the American Heart Association, and the Preventive Cardiovascular Nurses Association. She directs the Glocal Cardiovascular Health Equity Lab at Johns Hopkins and is President and Co-Founder of the African-Diaspora Nursing Alliance (A-DNA), advancing nursing and healthcare in Ghana and across the diaspora. Through this work, she has spent her career driving better cardiovascular health outcomes for African communities worldwide, the same mission she now brings to founding NAKI Health.

Thomas Osborne, MD is board certified in Diagnostic Imaging and Neuroradiology and serves as Chief Medical Officer, Federal Civilian at Microsoft. He has devoted his professional career to accelerating advancements at the intersection of healthcare, technology, and business, and is driven to solve challenges for broad positive impact and shared success.

Dr. Osborne's academic publications cover a diversity of topics such as cancer, infectious disease, neurologic disorders, surgery, pain and anxiety, climate health, falls, elder care, determinants of health, telehealth, diagnostics, predictive analytics, drug repurposing, cost savings, employee morale, strategy, efficiencies, health risk, safety, and the integration of advanced technologies into clinical practice.

Dr. Osborne received his medical degree from Dartmouth Medical School and completed his clinical residency and fellowship at Harvard hospitals. He is also Clinical Associate Professor (affiliated) at Stanford Health Care and has been an advisor and mentor to other healthcare leaders for most of his career. He is the inaugural recipient of the VA Under Secretary for Health Robert L. Jesse Award for Excellence in Innovation and the Arthur S. Flemming Award for exceptional public service, and his work has been published widely in medical journals and textbooks on health equity, predictive analytics, and the future of health care, the same vision for technology-driven, equitable care that he now brings to co-founding NAKI Health.

Nana Frimpong brings more than 15 years of general management experience spanning the international development sector and the venture-backed healthtech start-up space. As Chief Operating Officer, Nana oversees critical aspects of NAKI Health's operations, including corporate IT and software deployment, enterprise risk management, global travel, safety and security, external communications, facilities, and the execution of prioritized special initiatives aimed at building the systems, business processes, and infrastructure that support NAKI Health's growth.

His areas of expertise include operations management, value proposition development, business model generation, business process improvement, program design, business development, and corporate strategy development and execution. He has also led the implementation of public health programs across sub-Saharan Africa funded by USAID, the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office, The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, United Nations agencies, corporate funders, and foundations, work that gave him a close, on-the-ground understanding of how health programs succeed or stall across the region.

Nana is the recipient of the Humentum 2017 Industry Award for Excellence in Cross Operations and holds an MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's Sloan School of Management. He brings this cross-sector operational expertise to NAKI Health, building the systems needed to scale nurse-led home-based care across Ghana.
